Mary Tyler Moore Has Died, Aged 80

Actress Mary Tyler Moore, known for her roles on The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show, has died.

UPDATE, 2:45pm EST: It has just been reported that Mary Tyler Moore has died, aged 80. Our hearts go out to her friends and family.

Mary Tyler Moore is reportedly in what’s being described as “grave condition” in a Connecticut hospital. The 80 year old actress has had a long battle with diabetes and has recently been dealing with numerous health issues, and the situation is worsening.

Sources tell PopWrapped that she has been on a respirator for the past week, and the situation being faced by the TV star is not looking hopeful, as family members are coming to the hospital to say their goodbyes.

Moore was a star of the small screen on such hit TV shows as The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Mary Tyler Moore Show. She has been nominated for 15 Emmys in her career, with seven wins. In 2012, she received the Screen Actors Guild Lifetime Achievement Award.
