Exclusive: McDougall Premieres His New Track “Shaken”

With his eighth album Reaching For Some Light due out shortly, PopWrapped are delighted to premiere McDougall’s latest track “Shaken”

Currently preparing for the release of his eighth full length album Reaching For Some Light, Scott McDougall, a multi-instrumentalist who hails from Portland, Oregon and goes solely by his last name, has already cemented himself as a fully fledged music star.

Throughout his career, as many artists have, he’s experienced highs and lows, trials and tribulations and found himself and his art tested from time to time. Now however, with his album release imminent, he’s found a new confidence in himself and his song-writing, and nowhere is such more evident than on his latest track “Shaken”, which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere.

Of the pride he has for his new album, McDougall says:

These songs have helped me through some very struggling times and are a reminder that I’ve got so much to be excited about and thankful for, no matter how I feel.

It’s nothing like any of my previous albums.  Lyric-wise, I tried to go deeper than I have gone before.

Give “Shaken” a listen below and for more information on McDougall, visit his website, give his page a like on Facebook or follow him on Twitter. His previous albums can be purchased on itunes and Reaching For Some Light will be available from the site May 20.
