It looks like Saturday Night Live has set its host for the April 6 show – Melissa McCarthy! According to Us Weekly the Oscar-nominated funny lady will be back for her second hosting gig in two years.
McCarthy can currently be seen in the hilarious big-screen hit Identity Thief, starring alongside Jason Bateman. She also stars in the acclaimed sitcom Mike and Molly, for which Melissa McCarthy won the 2011 Primetime Emmy for outstanding lead actress in a comedy series.
Mike and Molly returns to CBS on March 18.
This Saturday, meanwhile, we can look forward to the long-awaited and much-anticipated return of Justin Timberlake to the SNL stage! On March 9 he’ll be returning as both host and musical guest!
