Looks like there is a new outlaw in Storybrooke.
TVLine ‘s Matt Webb Mitovich has learned that the hit ABC fantasy drama has recasted its Robin Hood.
Sean Maguire (Kröd Mändoon and the Flaming Sword of Fire) will be replacing Merlin star Tom Ellis as Robin Hood. He will make his first appearance on the show during its third season.
“Although we love Tom Ellis, unfortunately he wasn’t available,” Once co-creator Adam Horowitz previously told TVLine of the recast plan. “We remain huge fans of his, but because we have an arc planned for the character, we had to move forward.”
The Once co-creator stated that Maguire’s Robin Hood will be involved in a recurring arc.
