The newest and final trailer for the new Man of Steel movie has been released and if you were skeptical of Michael Shannon’s ability to play Zod, this should quell any doubts.

In the new creeptastic peek into Man of Steel, we hear Zod making an announcement to the public that Superman/Clark/Kal-el has 24 hours to surrender or he can watch the world suffer the consequences. The footage also shows several glimpses into fight scenes between Superman and Zod, not to mention the glimpse of a scene where Superman is being pulled down into a pile of skulls to only God knows where…

The film, directed by Zach Snyder (300, The Watchmen), has been one of the most talked about films of the year. It is anticipated to be one of, if not, the biggest blockbuster of 2013.

For those of you as excited as me to see it, you don’t have much longer to wait. The film releases on June 14th in 2D, 3D, and IMAX.
