With rumors constantly swirling about a breakup between Miley and Liam, especially with recent speculation that she and the Biebs were getting some late night flirt on, it’s actually her parents making headlines after announcing a divorce this week. Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from country singer Billy Ray Cyrus citing irreconcilable differences, according to sources at TMZ.
This isn’t the first time the couple has called it quits. Back in 2010, it was Billy Ray who filed for divorce also citing irreconcilable differences. They managed to work it out for the sake of their family, but something tells me this time it’s the real deal. Tish made a statement to Gossip Cop: “This is a personal matter and we are working to find a resolution that is in the best interest of our family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time.” She has also asked for full custody of the couple’s youngest daughter, Noah.
With so many “Achy Breaky Hearts” in the Cyrus family these days, I’m really hoping Miley and Liam are able to go the distance and make it down the aisle.
