Mixhalo Cuts First Arena Deal With STAPLES Center

Mixhalo is steadfastly gaining momentum as the company announces partnership with LA’s most popular venue, STAPLES Center.

If you’ve been keeping up with our coverage of Incubus guitarist, Mike Einziger’s, wholly amazing and innovative startup Mixhalo, you know that they’ve continued to prove again and again that what they set out to achieve, they will.

When we spoke with CEO Marc Ruxin, he enthusiastically shared his vision of providing a sound experience like no other that doesn’t end with music events. As a passionate sports fan, Ruxin dreamed of a world of immersive sporting events. That has now become a reality with the announcement of their partnership with the famous Los Angeles multi-use venue STAPLES Center. The home of Los Angeles Clippers, Los Angeles Kings, Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Sparks, the venue hosts over 240 events every year and is a prime candidate to display the power and versatility of Mixhalo.

Marc Ruxin explained,

“STAPLES Center embodies the audio possibilities – and challenges – of the multi-use arena, hosting more than 240 events a year, including professional sports, concerts, awards shows, and more. Mixhalo’s patented cutting edge technology will transform the audio experience for fans at these events. Now, when visitors experience a live event at STAPLES they will be in the driver’s seat. Imagine watching basketball and hockey with live, crystal-clear play-by-play in your ear, hearing front row sound in the last row or selecting a specific mix at a concert. That is a Mixhalo-powered experience.”

Powering a venue as massive as STAPLES Center does present its challenges, but the Mixhalo teams have been working tirelessly in building a scalable system to provide the very best immersive audio experience for fans from the floor to the farthest reaches within the walls of the venue, collaborating with artists, home teams, agents, promoters, and clients to gather input to create the very best case in every scenario possible at STAPLES Center.

No doubt that it is a huge undertaking, however, the Mixhalo team has never bent to adversity and continue an unprecedented trajectory of success. We are looking forward to the spread of this experience in arenas across the United States and abroad.

“We are now at the forefront of how live audio is delivered throughout the arena thanks to Mixhalo. Mixhalo is fundamentally changing the game for fan experiences, and we’re proud to be the first arena on the planet to bring this cutting-edge technology to our guests.”
Lee Zeidman, President of STAPLES Center, Microsoft Theater and L.A. LIVE.

For those with the great fortune of gaining access to the Mixhalo experience, fans are experiencing Mixhalo in all of its glory on Incubus’ current 20 Years of Make Yourself and Beyond tour.
