With the growing anticipation for the release of the Xbox One, especially with the massive gaming convention E3 on June 11, more and more is being said about the console each day.
The latest news on the console is that the developers, Microsoft, are trying to secure some big Hollywood studios and names to present unique content that you will only be able to access through the Xbox One.
According to Digital Spy, Microsoft has been rumored to have approached CBS, Sony TV and WME as part of this plan to “merge the storytelling magic of TV with the interactive power of the Xbox One.”
Microsoft has already announced that they will be having a live action Halo series that will be produced by Steven Spielberg.
Other things we know about the Xbox One, according to Microsoft, so far are that it will be an all-in-one home entertainment system; including a Blu-ray player and unique apps available for download to access other things such as Hulu and Netflix.
The console is not considered an “always online” piece, however according to IGN, it seems pretty close. The say that “You can game offline for up to 24 hours on your primary console or one hour if you are logged on to a separate console.”
The Xbox One will also launch 15 exclusive games in its first year; Forza Motorsportwill be the first one.
