Natalie Gray Presents “One In A Million”

“…a very personal track for me, promoting a welcoming goodbye to toxic relationships…”

Ginger bombshell Natalie Gray is back with a new 80s pop inspired single “One In A Million”, which PopWrapped are delighted to premiere. The track, which drops on Friday via top synthwave label Aztec Records, follows Natalie’s success providing vocals for “Get What You Give” by Billy Da Kid and Joel Corry and featuring on Loose Lip and Jake Tarry’s house anthem “Always On My Mind.” With her long-time co-writers Jack & Luke at the helm for “One In A Million”, the UK artist captures that 80’s synth pop, summer sound making you want to grab your hairbrush and dance around like Molly Ringwald in your bedroom and the song is sure to be a hit with fans both old and new.

About the single Natalie says: “One In A Million” is a very personal track for me, promoting a welcoming goodbye to toxic relationships and a reminder that life online isn’t always fact. To know your worth, dance like a kid again and when life gives you lemons throw them straight back. So, rather than being a said breakup song, it is a rally for putting down your devices and to stop comparing yourself to the images we scroll through relentlessly online.”

Set to a backdrop of grainy tape fuzz, “One In A Million” sounds like a lost retro Kylie track with bubbling bass, funky guitar and a gorgeous vocal. Conjuring scenes of Top of The Pops in its hey-day, the track is a fizzing party banger that oozes with nostalgia and soul. With the recent resurgence in 80’s styled music and fashion, Natalie’s new single feels like yet another new chapter in this movement, celebrating the past and encompassing the present and future in a track that is instantly lovable and, as a dancefloor anthem infused with flecks of sentimental intensity, it would perhaps make a great inclusion on the soundtracks of recent Netflix series’ like ‘Glow’ or ‘Stranger Things.’
