Fresh off being picked-up for a 3rd Season Fox’s New Girl dropped some interesting hints as to where the show is heading in the remaining episodes of season 2. Let me tell you, it’s going to be good! Let’s start off with my favorite spoiler of all:

Dermont Mulroney

is back. This man just exudes sexy and will be returning at what seems to be perfecting timing later on this season. All I can say is YUM.

Also returning is Rob Reiner as Jess’ father in episode 24. While we are talking parental units, some sad news. Nick’s father passes away and the group heads to Chicago to help him grieve. While there we meet Nick’s mother who is played by Margo Martindale. Apparently Nick is a bit of the Golden Child back home.

Speaking of golden, Schmidt has a real name! No time line has been given as to when the bombshell will released but I’m sure it will be amazing. Also on deck for Schmidt, producers hinted that next season we may meet the woman who spawned this glorious comedic creature.

Lastly, we’ll get a flashback episode this season of the gang talking about their first times. It sure to be a knee slapper. The episode is currently in production and we learned that Schmidt gets “very overzealous with some lube.” AH-MAZING.
