Earlier this week, Meghan Trainor announced a new album Treat Myelf on August 31st, but for now she's gifted us a new song to help pass the time. Trainor's newest track is titled, 'All the Ways'. She dropped the new song with the pre order of her new music on June 20th. The album cover for Treat Myeslef is fantastic with both sparkles and colors to grab our attention and remid us of why we love to listen to her songs, most of them, anyway. We may not be head over heels crazy for 'All The Way's now, but we're sure we will be, and even if we don't, the album will have plenty of timeless gems to offer.
Prior to this song, we were gifted another song from Ms. Trainor, titled 'No Excuses' but this one isn't like the other in any way. The first song, if it will be on Treat Myself, is exactly what we all want so this semi ballad came as a bit of a surprise. Could the new sound have something to do with her engagement? Maybe, but that's not what we're here for. 'All the Ways' is an average song with some really high points, though some of it falls flat as too much of a sappy love song. Trainor's new song comes off as one that is on the album, but not the kind you release. And, we only say that because it doesn't have that special quality to make it take over the radio world. Now, some fans would disagree with us:
Listen to the song below and share your thoughts on it. It's a good song, with a bridge to almost redeem it to amazing status, but with Meghan Trainor we know it could be so much better.
