“Scorned” is the second song to release off Rayana Ragan’s EP, godless. The track— a follow-up to her debut release, “Why Mama Why”— takes you on a tour through the twisted and unfiltered inner fantasies of someone who has had their heart broken and wishes they could seek retribution. “Scorned” continues what “Why Mama Why” started by opening the floor to dialogue about mental health and how toxic relationships can have catastrophic long term affects that hide beneath the surface. With its eerie track and belting choruses, you can feel the catharsis as you journey through the track with the artist. – Rayana
6. Lee Brown and Prettyheartbreak – “Alone“
“Alone is a story of somebody feeling lonely and isolated even though they are surrounded by so much love and support. Sometimes when you are going through tough times you think you can handle it all by yourself and struggle see the people that you care about are right in front of you.” – Lee.
7. Kyle Reynolds – “Asshole“
“I went on to date a couple of amazing and awesome girls (not at the same time lol) which unfortunately ended up in me realizing “I don’t think this is healthy/not going to work out. Aka a break up. And trust meee, NOBODY WANTS TO BREAK UP WITH SOMEONE. Through my life I always felt so much shame and guilt after breaking up with someone. Like I was truly a bad person. I’ve learned now that sometimes things just aren’t mean’t to be and don’t always work out. Though it’s unfortunate, it doesn’t always make you an asshole for ending it. I think you should honest, kind, and communicative, that’s all you can give to someone. Doesn’t mean it’s not hard to go through a break up, but you’re human. Be kind to yourself.” You’re not an asshole. I mean…unless you are. Hope you enjoy the song” – Kyle
8. LUNDON – “Don’t Turn This Car Around“
“Our new single, “Don’t Turn This Car Around” is about not metaphorically not turning this car around. no matter how bad shit gets you never can turn the car around or go back. you need to keep moving forward” – LUNDON
9. Duchess – “Breakup Sex”
“This electro-pop banger contains a heavy dose of sexual energy, and drips with lustful desire. Teaming up with co-writer and producer Patch Boshell, the pair’s chemistry in the studio is on show once again as Duchess’ impressive vocal performance and sultry melodies are skilfully set to Patch’s explosive dark-pop production, resulting in a catchy and sexy vibe – as Duchess explains: “We are such a strong team when we create together, and the process is such an enjoyable experience. We both understand what I want to deliver in my music and this track came about through us exploring different narratives.”
10. Bryce Xavier – “Already Looking At Me”
“the song is about the feeling of finally finding a love that’s right for you. instead of being the one that has to make the first move that person you love tells you how they feel first. when you go to look at them and admire their beauty, they were already looking at you first” – Bryce.
11. James Kennedy – “The Power“

14. REECE – “Back For Me“

15. Rowan Joseph – “Chalamet”
“i wanted to write a song that i thought perfectly captures the essence of the ideal romance. The song is heavily inspired by the hollywood portrayal of what being in love feels like. I wrote the song to be extremely visual and nostalgic. I want people to listen to it and be able to either reminisce on a love story they’ve experienced or fantasize about one they desire in the future. I hope my listeners will feel as though they’ve transported into a classic black and white film and feel the love that i have for this song as well.” – Rowan.

No doubt, an amazing week for music. Thankfully, we compiled our favorites of the releases into a list for yo. Let us know what tracks you are jamming to this week in the comments section below or on our socials @PopWrapped.
