During the NBA finals this weekend, ABC released a new promo video for its upcoming fall TV series Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
While the video contained no new footage, the clip showed Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton)—an expert in espionage and combat—watch a hologram lift what looks like to be an office chair over its head.
A specific premiere date has yet to be announced, but currently the show’s proposed time slot will be Tuesdays at 8pm ET. Directed and written by Avengers director Joss Whedon, the show has garnered large amounts of attention.
Avengers’ star Clark Gregg will reprise his role as Agent Phil Coulson in the series. He will assemble a small group of Agents from S.H.I.E.L.D. to investigate the unknown, strange and new across the globe as a premise to the show.
Agent Coulson’s team will be made up of Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) a martial artist and pilot; Agents Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) and Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker), as socially awkward scientists; new recruit Skye (Chloe Bennet) a computer hacker; and the previously mentioned Agent Ward.
The show is scheduled to debut in the fall.
