The first season of The Handmaid's Tale was well received by fans and critics alike, winning Best Drama Series at the Emmys and Golden Globes. Hulu announced that Season 2 of their original series will premiere on April 25 with a double episode. Following the premiere, episodes will be released each on Wednesdays, with a total of 13 episodes this season.
Fans who have read the Margaret Atwood novel on which the series is based, know that Season 1 spans all the events of the book.
