New Thor: The Dark World Photos!

You’ve all just bidding your time to get a really good look at Chris Hemsworth in that amazingly hot Thor armor! Now you’ve all got your chance! It looks as though Jane gets to see what Thor’s world is like, based on how she is dressed in the photo above.

Alan Taylor’s most recent directorial effort follows straight on from the 2012 box office hit The Avengers, following the Asgardian demigod as he battles not only the Norse Dark Elves, led by Dark Elf Malekith (Christopher Eccleston), but also has troubles with Foster, who is not best pleased with Thor’s lack of contact following recent events (aka superhero battles in New York!). “Thor still has a lot of explaining to do, and a lot of making up,” Hemsworth said, adding “Even demigods end up in the doghouse, mate. So none of us is safe.” As well as this, the sequel will include a more concentrated look at Asgard, as Foster’s life is in danger and Thor takes her to his home to safeguard her.

As for recent MTV Movie Award Winner for ‘Best Villain’ Tom Hiddleston, his character Loki will be approached by his half-brother for help in his conflict with the Norse Dark Elves! Will brotherly love be enough for the resident bad-guy to mend his ways? “Tom has built and shaped one of the best movie villains in years with many, many layers,” says Marvel’s president of production Kevin Feige, adding, “It will be very difficult for Loki to lose the villain status. He has that firmly in hand.”

All we know about the details of the film is that this time around Thor is facing off against the Norse Elves. As for other details, everything is being kept under wraps. Enjoy the photos, everyone! How excited are you all to see this film?

Thor: The Dark World opens in US cinemas November 8, and in the UK October 30
