Two new posters of the upcoming film 300: Rise of an Empire have been revealed, and they look bloody amazing (pun totally intended)!

Both posters show Sullivan Stapleton as Greek general Themistocles wielding a bloody sword during battle; one of the posters includes the legend “Seize your glory”.

It was also announced that new footage from the film will air as part of a TV spot to be released during the AFC and the NFC championship games this Sunday.

300: Rise of an Empire, follow up to Zack Snyder’s 2007 film, takes place before, during, and after the first film. Directed by Noam Murro and written and produced by Zack Snyder, it follows Themistocles’ battle to reunite Greece while defending the empire against the invasion of Persian forces.

Starring alongside Stapleton are Eva Green as Artemisia, Rodrigo Santoro as King Xerxes, King of Persia, and Lena Headey as Queen Gorgo of Sparta.

300: Rise of an Empire will be released on March 7th, and you can watch the trailer right here:
