Cowabunga, dude! Michael Bay’s Ninja Turtles has finally finished casting its colorful, masked heroes.
The film, directed by Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans), made its final turtle addition Tuesday (March 25), when it was announced that another Shameless actor would be joining the young cast. Noel Fisher – also of Twilight fame – will be playing party dude and nunchuck-wielding turtle Michelangelo, in the motion picture reboot.
Fisher joins the previously announced cast comprised of Pete Ploszek (Shameless) in the role of blue-masked Leonardo, Jeremy Howard (Breaking Bad) who will be playing purple turtle Donatello, and Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire) as the red-masked Raphael. As previously reported, Megan Fox will be taking the role of turtle gal pal April O’Neil.
Ninja Turtles is currently in pre-production and is slated for a June 2014 release date. What do you think of the latest casting? Do you think this movie has what it takes to bring back Turtle Power?
