Those hoping to see Mila Kunis be swept off her feet by the mummy-porn hero, the dashing Christian Grey, in a film version of the erotic novel, 50 Shades of Grey will have to find some way to cope with disappointment as the actress puts to rest rumours of her involvement in the project.
While Kunis’ name has long been circulated as being a potential blushing virgin, Anastasia Steele, when asked during a press conference for Oz: The Great and Powerful, she quashed the speculation once and for all:
Gosh, this 50 Shades of Grey thing is just not gonna leave, is it? No, you will not see me in Fifty Shades of Grey. I’m so sorry.
So with Kunis out of the picture, who else is in line to step into Grey’s Red Room of Pain? Names still floating around include Krysten Ritter (Breaking Bad), Harry Potter’s Emma Watson and Gilmore Girls’ Alexis Bledel. Meanwhile, talk is centered on Ian Somerhalder (The Vampire Diaries), Matt Bomer (White Collar) and more recently, Erik Odom (Twilight Saga – Breaking Dawn Part II).
