Is there anything that James Franco can’t do? Or rather won’t do? Oz the Great and Powerful hits theaters this weekend leaving Franco will some time in his schedule. What better way to spend it by starring in a play? Franco revealed to Stephen Colbert that he will be playing George in Broadway’s revival Of Mice and Men.
No other information regarding the revival has been released. Of Mice and Men first hit the Broadway stage in 1937. The show was adapted from John Steinbeck’s classic novel of the same name. Most are familiar with the story today as it is a staple on many high school reading lists.
Franco had hopes of gracing the stage once before. In 2011 he was set to star with Nicole Kidman is a revival of Sweet Bird of Youth, unfortunately plans fell through. We will have to wait and see if he has better luck this time!
