Fans of Once Upon a Time still have 2 weeks to wait until the show returns, but here’s a sneak peek to help pass the time.

In the next episode, “Tiny”, we get another look at the giant from earlier this season, played by Jorge Garcia.

Here’s the plot synopsis for the episode from ABC:

Kidnapped and brought to Storybrooke by Cora, the Giant (Jorge Garcia) unleashes his vengeance on the town when a case of mistaken identity leads him to try and settle an old score with David; Mr. Gold, accompanied by Emma and Henry, attempts to depart Storybrooke - hoping to keep his memory intact when he crosses the town line — and heads to the airport in search of his son Bae; and Greg (Ethan Embry) questions Belle as to what she saw on the night of his car accident. Meanwhile, in the fairy tale land that was and against his brothers’ wishes, Anton, the Giant, climbs down the beanstalk and attempts to befriend some humans - whose intentions may not be so noble.

According to the synopsis, the Giant and David’s dead twin brother have history together. Whether that history is violent or simply a friendly rivalry we’ll have to wait and see, but this picture shows them getting along rather well together:

You’ll also note in that picture we get our first look at Jack, being played by Cassidy Freeman, from the fairy tale “Jack and the Beanstalk” with the twist that Jack is female.

Thanks to Cora and her evil plans, the Giant is transported to Storybrooke. Here’s a still of the Giant in Granny’s  along with Snow, Charming, and Leroy/Grumpy:

Doesn’t look like anyone’s been punched in the face, but we’ll see.

Meanwhile Emma, Henry, and Rumplestiltskin leave town in search of Bae.

Rumplestiltskin struggles against his arch nemesis, airport security.

Also, at the hospital Belle is questioned by “the outsider”, Greg Medel, which I can only assume is a play on the name Gregor Mendel, the famous founder of genetics. I’m not quite sure how that ties in, but I doubt it’s a coincidence.

(Greg’s cell phone also has a Star Wars ringtone, as seen in the last episode, whether that was simply because Disney just bought Star Wars or that’s a hint for the future of the show, who knows.)

“Tiny” airs Feb. 10 on ABC (COMING SOON!) (COMING SOON!)
