You probably wondered why the Earth shook this morning. It was because all the Directioners jumping up and down at the release of the new1D This is Us trailer.
The boy band is in the middle of making a documentary about their sold-out world tour. It is directed by Morgan Spurlock, who also did the fast food doc Super Size Me. It is produced by One Direction creator, Simon Cowell.
“For anyone who’s a fan of the band, you’re gonna get a chance to really see what it’s like preparing for one of these big concert tours – a lot of it is about the fans,” Cowell said when they started the process.
The movie premiers August 30th and will show not only what life is like on tour for the boys, but also a look at where each came from.
The trailer features a preview of a new single “Best Song Ever”. It also shows off a teary moments from “bad boy” Zayn as he talks to his mother, Harry going back to his first job, and a nearly naked Liam.
