Bacon lovers rejoice!
Waking up in the morning and smelling bacon cooking may be the best wake up call for many people, so how would you feel if you were able to smell it and hear it sizzling right by your bed?
The Oscar Mayer company, which is known for producing some of our favorite meats and cold cuts, is working to make your mornings a little more pleasant.
The Oscar Mayer Institute For the Advancement of Bacon, or OMIFAB for short, has created a special device you can hook up to your iPhone headphone jack. Your iPhone will no longer just be an alarm in the morning.
Once your alarm goes off, the device will emit a small puff of the scent of bacon. To add to the experience and hear the sizzling, you can download the Oscar Mayer Wake Up & Smell the Bacon app in the iTunes store.
Oscar Mayer’s commercial advertising the device is quite intense and takes you through a journey of bacon.
“Only the scent will guide you to your greatest awakening,” the bacon man says.
Now if you are hooked and want to wake up to the smell of bacon every morning, you have a chance to get the device for free until April 4th.
