Vogue.com reports that Nicole Kidman is the new face behind Jimmy Choo. She will be featured in the brands 2013-14 campaign.
This marks Jimmy Choo’s first campaign since Sandra Choi took over as its creative director.
Choi told Vogue that she is a fan of Kidman’s, and that she considers it an honor to be working with her. She says, “”Nicole is one of the finest actresses in the world, who I knew could convey the empowered glamour of the brand. But she is also so nuanced and refined; she brings an attitude of defiance, strength, sensuality and elegance.”
Kidman is not new to representing iconic brands, as she was previously a brand ambassador for Chanel No.5, and Omega Watches.
She told Vogue.com that she’s always loved fashion, and utilizes it to get into a character. The actress added, “There is a lot of complexity, mystery and femininity to the Jimmy Choo woman.”
Kidman is a woman of elegance, and class, and seems to be the perfect fit to represent a well-respected brand like Jimmy Choo.
The actress’ advertisements for the brand will premiere globally in August issues.
