This year’s PaleyFest is upon us, with just a little over a week left before opening night on March 1 at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills, CA.
While tickets for the remaining panels are still available–and some going fast–individual tickets for The Walking Dead and The Big Bang Theory are completely sold out. The only way to attend these panels is to purchase a festival pass–a Comedy Studio Pass for The Big Bang Theory or a Genre Studio Pass for The Walking Dead.
If you’re one of those people who doesn’t have $500 just lying around and are still bummed because you couldn’t get tickets to either of these two events, there’s still a chance for you to experience these star-studded nights.
For the first time ever, the Paley Center for Media has partnered with Fathom Events to bring these two panels to the big screen. The events will be broadcast in more that 525 select movie theaters nationwide and offer fans an opportunity to be part of the festival without having to be in the L.A. area. The Big Bang Theory will have a live broadcast on Wednesday, March 13 at 7:00 pm PT, while The Walking Dead will broadcast a recording of its March 1st panel on Thursday, March 7 at 8 pm local time. Tickets for both of these events are currently on sale through Fathom Events.
Scheduled panelists for The Walking Dead include: Andrew Lincoln, David Morrissey, Danai Gurira, Laurie Holden, Steven Yeun, Norman Reedus, and Scott Wilson.
The Big Bang Theory panel will be formed by: Chuck Lorree, Johnny Galecki, Jim Parsons, Kaley Cuoco, Simon Helberg, Kunal Nayyar, Mayim Bialik, and Melissa Rauch.
PaleyFest gives fans the chance to see their favorite TV stars in an intimate setting, listen to creative input, and learn more about the characters they see on their screens week after week from the people who portray them. Think of it as a Comic-Con panel but in a much smaller scale, more intimate and relaxed, and without the huge crowds and endless lines.
The Walking Dead and The Big Bang Theory might be sold out, but there are plenty of other shows taking part in the festival with tickets still available through TicketWeb. Check out the full lineup below to see who else will be in attendance. For more information about individual panels, including guests, visit Paleycenter.org.
