Pancreatic Cancer Diagnosed In Wilko Johnson From Game Of Thrones

Courtney Wark

Staff Writer

Robert Hoy, the manager of Wilko Johnson, recently revealed some very tragic news about the Game of Thrones actor. Via Johnson’s Facebook page Hoy announced that Johnson has been diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer. The post read: “I am very sad to announce that Wilko has recently been diagnosed with terminal cancer of the pancreas. He has chosen not to receive any chemotherapy.”

Fortunately, Johnson, who plays Ser Ilyn Payne on the popular HBO series, is not currently suffering and will still have a few months of normal activity. His illness has not set him back at all, as he recently left for Japan and still plans to complete a new CD and have a short tour in France.
