Continuing to share their creativity and passion for music via their debut album Precious Things, Peppermint Heaven AKA Spark & Juno, have released the latest in their set of music videos, this time offering up the visual accompaniment for the track “Stranger Than Fiction.”
The track maintains the rather psychedelic-electronic keys based rhythm and style that the duo work with so well. There’s also an almost darkness and depth to the lyrics, notably prior to the chorus, that presents the song as one of the more serious numbers they’ve created in their time together, but all the while, there’s an unmistakable David Bowie-esque feel about it which makes it hard to ignore.
“Stranger Than Fiction” might not be to everyone’s taste but Peppermint Heaven are certainly a band doing things their way and unashamedly so.
To create the video, as they did with their previous ones, the pair teamed up with acclaimed director Pierce G. Wilson with whom the band have formed a close and deeply professional relationship and whose ideas perfectly compliment their own.
Check out the video below and for more information on the band, visit their website, like them on Facebook or follow them on Twitter. Their debut album Precious Things is out now and available on itunes.
