More details on the plot of Marvel’s next X Men film, X Men: Days of Future Past, have been revealed!
Have you been wondering who Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage will be playing? Well, the wait is over! Dinklage will be taking up the role of Bolivar Trask.
Yep. He’s a bad guy. Trask is, in fact, a military scientist who invents robots that track and kill mutants.
We also know who Josh Helman will be playing - a younger version of William Stryker. Stryker is another enemy of the mutants, and a character who has appeared in two previous installments of the X Men film universe.
Lucas Till will also be back to reprise the role of Havoc, which he played in X Men: First Class.
In addition to the confirmation of those two roles, we have some solid information on the plot of the film. It takes on a slight variation from the comic book story it’s adapted from.
Kitty Pryde (Ellen Page) uses her powers to send Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back in time to help save the mutants. There he will encounter the versions of Magneto and Professor X that we met in X Men: First Class (Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy, respectively). Something happens to Kitty while she’s in her “trance”. The mutants must find a way to save her powers and bring Wolverine back.
