Artist Pharrell Williams will be performing at this year’s Brit Awards. The “Get Lucky” singer will perform at the annual ceremony held at London’s O2 Arena, and will be joining musical acts including Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Bruno Mars, Bastille, Rudimental, and Ellie Goulding.
Currently at number one on the UK Singles Chart for the hit “Happy”, Williams said he was “humbled” to be given the opportunity to perform at the Brits. “I always look forward to seeing the artists that come together on the Brits stage,” said Williams. “I’m so humbled by this opportunity – performing at the awards will be surreal.”
Earlier this month, British sensations Ellie Goulding and Bastille gave positive reactions to receiving multiple nominations for the upcoming awards. Bastille has taken nominations in four categories, while Goulding has earned three nominations. Other acts nominated for this year’s Brit Awards include Disclosure, Rudimental, One Direction, and John Newman.
The Brit Awards are scheduled to take place Wednesday, February 19 in London.
