If you have had the pleasure of hearing Grace Potter’s “White Rabbit” you know how awesome it is. Now imagine P!nk covering it.
Getting excited yet?
In the newest trailer for Alice Through the Looking Glass, our favorite characters and villains go through the motions of interacting with the newest baddie in Wonderland while P!nk brings her own unique flair to “White Rabbit.”
The trailer aired during the 2016 Grammy Awards, promising a fantastic follow-up adventure to Alice In Wonderland. The film will feature the same cast and colorful visuals as the previous movie, with the added twist of a ticking clock.
Time to save the Hatter!

P!nk is not the first singer to cover “White Rabbit.” Grace Potter put her own spin on the song for the second fan soundtrack for the first Alice film. The song was originally recorded by Jefferson Airplane back in 1967. The band admits they were inspired by the Alice stories when they started writing it.
The unveiling of P!nk’s involvement with the film also gave her and Disney the chance to reveal how the artist will also “write and record an original song” for Alice Through the Looking Glass.
Hopefully we will be able to hear at least a little bit of it in the next few months. The film already looks amazing, and this is just the icing on the cake (the unbirthday cake, don’t you know)!
Alan Rickman, who passed away in January of this year, will reprise his role as the Blue Caterpillar. This is expected to be his final role, as no further news of previous projects has been announced.
“You’ve been gone too long, Alice … and do mind your step.”
The film’s official synopsis reads:
“Alice returns to the whimsical world of Underland and travels back in time to save the Mad Hatter.”
Not a lot to go on, but we’re already intrigued!
Alice Through the Looking Glass will tick into theatres May 27, 2016!
