Pop10 Dancing With The Stars Performances

As we prepare to see a new batch of celebrities take the dance floor tonight on Dancing With The Stars, here is our Pop10 DWTS Performances.

As we prepare to see a new batch of celebrities take the dance floor tonight on Dancing With The Stars, I wanted to pay homage to some of my favorite performances from the past 22 seasons. So here are my top 10 performances:

Number 10 – Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas (Season 5): Cha Cha

I start the countdown with a couple who dominated the competition back in Season 5 of the show. However, they went home too early. I am talking about Sabrina Bryan and Mark Ballas. Their Week One Cha-Cha was on point with the energy, moves, and speed. With hints of hip-hop in the performance, I thought this really showed what Sabrina had to offer.

Number 9 – Carlos PenaVega And Witney Carlson (Season 21): Rumba

Move over Channing Tatum, Carlos PenaVega is coming. His Rumba performance to “Pony” from Magic Mike was sexy, salutary, and everything a Rumba should be. In this performance, I thought he really was brought into his own.

Number 8 – Nyle DiMarco and Peta Murgatroyd (Season 22): Samba

Nyle and Peta sure did “Trash The Camp” in this Tarzan inspired Samba. Throughout the entire competition that year, I was very inspired by Nyle’s story and what he was accomplishing on the show. This was one of my favorite performances of his. The energy and spunk made this dance a winner for me.

Number 7 – Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess (Season 21): Jazz

Backstreet’s Back! This performance of Nick’s Most Memorable Year was so fun to watch it made me feel like a little girl again. The iconic moves and incorporating the jazz element to it was brilliant.

Number 6 – Kellie Pickler and Derek Hough (Season 16): Freestyle

This performance by Kellie and Derek touched my heart so much. It wasn’t your typical freestyle. They took a very delicate and settled approach to it, and I think it worked out for them. I think what made it work for me was the fact that it wasn’t a big production of a performance.

Number 5 – Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough (Season 21): Contemporary

This performance was another one that touched my heart. During Most Memorable Year week on the show, Bindi opened up about her father’s (Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin) death. Everything about the performance was pure perfection. I think Derek came up with a brilliant routine that shows a definite story and shows how much Bindi loved her father.

Number 4 – Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess (Season 21): Contemporary

I think this performance is so sweet. To me, this was Nick’s best performance of the season. It is amazing how much you can tell a story through dance.

Number 3 – Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough (Season 21): Rumba

Nobody puts baby in a corner. During Famous Dances week, Bindi and Derek got the chance to take on the famous Dance from Dirty Dancing. I absolutely LOVED it! You could tell where they added Rumba, but it felt like I was actually watching the movie.

Number 2 – Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke (Season 2): Freestyle

We’re taking it all the way back to Season 2 of the show when we saw Drew Lachey and Cheryl Burke do one of the most famous freestyles of DWTS history. This was so fun to watch, and I enjoyed every moment of it. I mean, let’s face it, who wouldn’t want to ride a cowboy?

Number 1 – Apolo Ohno and Julianne Hough (Season 4): Samba

The number one performance on this list goes to Julianne Hough and Apolo Anton Ohno and their Samba. This performance was high paced, full of energy, and the movement all around the dance floor is what makes dances great, and that is why it was number one on this Top ten list!

Well guys, there you have it, my top 10 Dancing With The Stars performances. Do you agree with this list? Have some of your own favorites? Let us know in the comments below.
