This week was a fantastic week in music. On PopWrapped’s radar this week: Troy Ogletree, Kim Petras, Julia Michaels, and Iggy Azalea.
Troy Ogletree just released his epic new track, “Cool Either Way“. If you like the style of The Chainsmokers, Jake Miller, and Kygo, this is definitely going to be one of your favorite songs. Whether you’re going through a breakup, or just need a song to relate to, this is the one. It talks about being in love and being done wrong, but still possibly having feelings for that person. We would also like to note, Troy has some more great tracks for you to check out. “Lost”, Independent”, “Kinda Love”, and “Sunshine”, are just a few of those that we can’t get enough of.
Kim Petras is back with her album, “Clarity“, and honestly, we are all stanning so hard for this Queen. Kim has definitely come up and changed the way pop music is being perceived and it’s exponential growth for this young Queen. The hits aren’t going to slow down anytime soon, that’s for sure. On Clarity, Kim blesses us with, “Icy”, “Broken”, “Do Me”, and the amazing, “Blow It All”. If Kim isn’t on your radar, yet, you’re missing out.
Iggy Azalea, a favorite here at PopWrapped, just dropped the preorder for her album, “In My Defense”. The album includes her already hot singles, “Sally Walker” and “Started”. With the preorder, you can also get your hands on her sexy, sultry, new track, “Just Wanna”, which may be a little too hot for younger ages, but we are loving her new music and you will, too.
Julia Michaels, the Queen of relatable music, just dropped her follow up collection of tracks, Inner Monologue PT.2 and we have nothing but amazing things to say about this album as a whole. “Falling For Boys”, “17”, “Shouldn’t Have Said It”, and “Work Too Much” are just some of the few amazing tracks that PT. 2 has. Julia Michaels is nothing short of a star. Her unique sound and look are none like the others.
