Any news surrounding Amanda Bynes just does not quit coming up!
It started with her being admitted into a mental hospital earlier this week. Now it’s because she’s been mocked online by another young starlet, Ashley Benson.
The Pretty Little Liars star took to Instagram on Wednesday and posted a photo of her posing like the recently troubled Bynes and captioned the photo with “Doing my Amanda Bynes look this afternoon.”
While I’m sure the photo was posted with intentions of making people laugh, it received mixed reviews from fans all over.
Some concerned followers of Benson’s replied with “Amanda has a mental disorder, this pic’s kinda mean,” “Taking the mick out of Amanda like that is pretty low!! It’s a form of bullying and you’ve practically humiliated her,” and that it was “disgusting” that she post something like this “about somebody who is clearly troubled and suffering from mental illness.”
Others got the humor and replied with “She has every right to do this, if Amanda can call everyone ugly then why can’t Ashley do this to her?” and “I think Ashley wanted to bash Amanda or make fun of [her] on here. She could have been sitting in a stranger’s driveway playing with fire.”
I personally don’t think Benson was trying to start anything with Bynes or humiliate her. Especially with her recent hospital admission; perhaps it was all just ill-timed.
