Want more liars in your life? Well it seems you’re about to get it; news just broke that not only is ABC Family’s hit teen thriller “Pretty Little Liars” renewed for a 5th season, the show is also getting a spinoff entitled “Ravenswood”. Consider yourself franchised, PLL!
This new show “Ravenswood” hails from the same omen as “Pretty Little Liars” and is written by Liars co-show runners Marlene King, Olive Goldstick, and Joseph Dougherty. The new spinoff with reportedly take place in Ravenswood, a town near the “Liars” hometown of Rosewood, PA which has been under a deadly curse for quite some time. Ravenswood will premier in October following the third annual “Liars” Halloween special. Reports suggest that the new characters for the new series will be introduced in this special. Personally, I think this is a great idea creatively but is it giving a hint at the 5th and possible final season of PLL?
So what do you think Liars? Should ABC Family stick to figuring out who the “A Team” is or expand the story to an even bigger mystery?
