Psych Comic-Con Wrap-Up: Musical Episode, Teaser Trailer & More!

It’s been a day full of exciting news for Psych fans! Comic Con has been treating the “Psych-O’s” well; that’s for sure. It’s been announcements and trailers and new Twitters galore!

You know that musical episode we’ve been hearing about? We’ve got a date! Well, technically it’s already been screened – a number of lucky fans got to see it at a special event. For the rest of us, we’ll have to wait until Sunday, December 15 to experience the two-hour musical spectacular. I know, it’s a long time from now, but I think it will be worth the wait, don’t you?

As for the stars themselves, they were of course in attendance at the screening – and they certainly arrived in style! They got a lift from the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile! And of course there were plenty of pineapples on hand. I’ve got to say, I’m pretty jealous.

James Roday has joined the ranks of his co-stars by finally getting himself a Twitter account! So be sure to follow @JamesRoday ASAP! And while you’re at it, if you haven’t already, you can follow Dule Hill (@DuleHill), Maggie Lawson (@MaggieLawson), and Timothy Omundson (@Omundson).

Now for some potentially not-so-great news (for fans, at least): Maggie Lawson’s new project, Back in the Game, has been officially been picked up by ABC for the fall. Could we be saying goodbye to Juliet O’Hara soon? Nothing is set in stone, but keep your fingers crossed!

Meanwhile, actress Mira Sorvino has been confirmed for a multi-episode arc this coming season. She’ll take on the role of Betsy Brannigan, the SBPD’s newest head detective.

Get pumped for the new season of Psych with the new trailer, released yesterday:
