Donald Trump’s presidency has been mired in controversy. From his cabinet picks to his Twitter tweets, the man’s under constant scrutiny and surveillance, and he’s under pressure to perform.
His latest criticism isn’t coming from SNL or Snoop Dogg, though. The terrorist group ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) gave their thoughts on Trump, too. A member named Abi al-Hassan al-Muhajer relayed the general consensus among his cohorts.
“America you have drowned and there is no savior, and you have become prey for the soldiers of the caliphate in every part of the earth, you are bankrupt and the signs of your demise are evident to every eye. There is no more evidence than the fact that you are being run by an idiot who does not know what Syria or Iraq or Islam is,” he says.
The terrorists have been a serious threat to the United States and the American people for years, and Trump has made moves to defeat the radicalized faction. He and the Pentagon perused their plans, and they proposed “the possibility of sending more U.S. troops to the Middle East, and see the Pentagon taking a more aggressive stance in other key areas.”
ISIS has constructed attacks that primarily target Westerners, but they’re willing to sacrifice anybody for the state of their nations. Less than a year ago the New York Times reported the number of lives lost to specific acts of terrorism.
“More than 1,200 people outside of Iraq and Syria have been killed in attacks inspired or coordinated by the Islamic State,” the article relays.
The death toll rose to over 2,000 people since then, not to mention the thousands injured by terrorism either directly or indirectly caused by ISIS.
Lives truly depend on Trump’s timely response, so all eyes are on him to make the safest and smartest decision possible. American people need protection, and people abroad need protection, too.
