Raised in Baltimore, R&B-pop singer Arí Nicole discovered her passion for music as a teenager via dancing in high school, something she continued with through to college.

From there, she found an interest in modelling and moved to New York aged just 20, with hopes of finding herself a career within the fashion and entertainment industries.

Her commitment to her cause paid off and following appearances in Fitness Magazine among others, together with a VMA commercial alongside global superstar Bruno Mars and guest spots in several TV shows, she began her own music career with performances in New York City after having connected with Gordon Chambers, Keanna “KH” Rose and Steff “Steff Nasty” Reed.

Described as an artist who blends the fun-loving grooves of Katy Perry, with the sensuality of Rihanna and the sweet-soul style of the late, great Aaliyah, her new single “Candy Coated” looks set to put her well and truly on the music map, and with a growing social media following, 2016 could well be the year she fulfils all her dreams and more.
