He’s had number one hits with “Party Rock Anthem” and “Sexy and I Know It” as frontman of LMFAO and today (September 8), RedFoo took to the stage to debut his new solo single, “Let’s Get Ridiculous”.

RedFoo is currently in Australia starring as one of the judges on their version of The X Factor. Taking advantage of his position on the series and the opportunity presented to artists to perform their latest singles, RedFoo performed what he is anticipating will be a big hit.

Speaking to The Daily Telegraph’s Confidential in the lead up to the debut he said, “After hearing the response from a few people, this is definitely going to be a worldwide smash. It is passing all the internal tests that this song, I think, its going to be the next No.1.”

Remarkably he recorded the song in less in less than 48 hours in his home studio in Sydney’s famed Bondi, where he is currently residing while undertaking X Factor duties.

As with his previous LMFAO hits, it’s catchy, energetic and fun with a great base line. It will have you up and dancing with a tagline that you can’t get out of your head.

The song is now available on iTunes and there are plans to film the video clip some time this week. “I haven’t even talked to the label yet but I already have the idea based on this performance. I’m looking at two days off this week, I’ll find the location and smash it.”
