Arrowheads rejoiced when Season 5 of Arrow premiered last night! We thought it would be cool to relive some of our favorite Arrow moments from the past four seasons. Lets take a look:
Introducing Barry Allen (Season 2)
During Season 2 of the show, we were introduced to Barry Allen (Grant Gustin), the assistant crime scene investigator from Central City. Barry arrived in Starling City to investigate a strange robbery that had occurred at Queen Consolidated. Between two episodes during the season, not only did he have a fling with Felicity but the Arrow fanboy was brought in on Oliver’s secret to ultimately save his life.
Though the case didn’t give Barry any new leads on his mother’s murder, his presence on the show did help the world in getting to know him for his own spin-off.
Sara Lance is the Canary (Season 2)
One huge surprise that fans of the show got to see in Season 2 was the reveal of Sara Lance as the Black Canary. Last known to have drowned on the boat, she was on the island with Oliver for a short period of time before training with the League of Assassins. I do have to say the shock that Oliver obtained when finding out I am pretty positive happened to the rest of us watching it on screen.
Team Arrow(less) (Season 4)
At the end of Season 3, we saw Oliver leave Star City to take care of his own life with the one he loved. He trusted the care of his hometown to the heroes he had inspired. In the beginning of Season 4, fans got a glimpse of what the team would look like without their leader. I was pleasantly surprised by how well that worked out, but, let’s be honest, what is Team Arrow without Oliver? The way they set up the episode did set the stage for them to be better when Oliver did return.
Oliver and Diggle Make Up (Season 4)
Following the events of Season 3, things between Oliver and Diggle were a bit strained to say the least. During Season 4, however, the two of them confronted their problems and sorted things out. I personally love the friendship that Oliver and Diggle have, so, when this happened, I felt at ease because Team Arrow works best as a solid unit; If things go wrong, the whole thing falls apart.
Goodbye to Black Canary (Season 4)
One of the saddest moments on this list, oddly enough, is one of my favorites because this is more than just a goodbye to a beloved character. This moment in Season 4 really showed fans that Team Arrow is a family. They are not just co-workers or comrades; they love one another and will be there for one another no matter what the situation.
The Island Flashbacks
I truly appreciate watching the island flashback scenes. It gives me a better idea about Oliver’s backstory. I think I would be lost if I didn’t have these, to be honest.
