Over the weekend, we have been following developments regarding international superstar guy group, Why Don’t We and their team. After BILLBOARD initially reported “Nightmarish behaviors” during their rise to fame. & things are very disturbing, so we suggest that you read at your own risk when it comes to what the exact details are, and how social media is reacting.

Alongside these allegations and, proof of this behavior surfacing, fans have been showing their support for Why Don’t We – expressing never ending gratitude and love for their favorite artists. & Lets just make one thing clear, the details are quite shocking, and is a huge example how a lot of artists who start at a young age are treated while they are at vulnerable ages.

Since details have started surfacing, Why Don’t We fans, better known as the Limelight’s are taking to Twitter to express their comments, questions, concerns, etc. The fans, as well as some of the parents of the boys are speaking out and utilizing the hashtags: #FREEWDW as well as #JUSTICEFORWDW and #JUSTICEFORWHYDONTWE.

Let’s dive into the details. Randy Phillips and David Loeffler are at the head of these lawsuits. There are still a lot of things up in the air for what exactly is the truth, per se, and what exactly has fully gone on. However, what we can say is, we have been following the statements (tweets) from the parents and there are a few things that obviously just can not be denied.

The lawsuits began to occur at the same time for different reasons. Phillips filed a lawsuit against Loeffler, saying that he “abnegated his prior agreement to allow Plaintiff to reassume the role of manager [of Signature Entertainment],” while Loeffler is suing all five Why Don’t We members for breach of contract and Phillips for interference with a business relationship over the band’s refusal to sign the Atlantic deal.TheThings.com

Arguments have started to surface on social media, and fans have begun connecting tweets, posts, and even videos and interviews to help to show that this has been going on since the beginning. With all of the footage, tweets, and connecting, you can clearly tell the boys were manipulated, abused, and conditioned to make things not look as if they were going on. Rather than being able to come out about mistreatment, Why Don’t We had to keep all this information, and pain bottled up, as their image, story, and talent were being 100% controlled by people who, unfortunately, mistreated them and let’s be honest, abused and manipulated them.

More developments are also showing that the boys also have struggled to have food available to them to eat, they were allowed slim to none use of the kitchen at their house, and one of the members (Corbyn Besson) even expressing concerns that he was only able to eat at later parts of the day, and even felt sick a lot of times due to the lack of food available to them.

Jack Avery, now a father, had expressed that they were sleep deprived, and also overworked under this management. Per documents being shared on social media, we have also found out that the boys also received inadequate and unreasonable pay. The boys, who made management hella money – were the ones who suffered. Their talent was manipulated, and taken advantage of. THEIR talent made these people MILLIONS, and the boys only saw super small (UNLIVABLE) wages as a result.

Limelights are taking a stand, and we stand with them and the boys of Why Don’t We. There are a lot of mistreatments going on in the music industry – but there is differences between what is right, what is wrong, and what is just straight up inhumane. & this, is inhumane. These guys started off their rise to fame at a very young age, some of them minors at the time – and people high up allowed for this treatment to happen. People high up treated these boys like they were machines, and not actual humans with real feelings. Through reports, you can see that these people took full control over these guys and put immense pressure on their mental health.
