Actors Jesse Hutch and Erin Cahill deliver in the new original film “Love on the Road,” which premiered on Sunday, January 23 on UPtv.

Hutch stars as Tom Billings, a diner owner, opposite Abby (played by Erin Cahill), who is a restaurant makeover show host.

In “Love on the Road,” Abby gets a new assignment where she has to turn a small-town diner into a place on the culinary map. Abby knows that this task is quite challenging and way out of her element.

As Abby begins spending more time with Tom, both in and out of the kitchen, she discovers good comfort food, as well as a thing she might call love. Most importantly, Abby might also find a new place to call home, which is reassuring.

Director Robert Lieberman did a solid job directing this new original movie, which was from a noteworthy script by Josh Brekhus.

Without giving too much away, it is a poignant movie that should be experienced by all. It is ideal for the entire family, and it will help provide an escape during the trying times that the world is going through these days.

The Verdict

Overall, “Love on the Road” is a pleasant and heartfelt new film on UPtv. Jesse Hutch, and Erin Cahill have great chemistry together.

Also, the entire cast is remarkable, which includes Francesca Bianchi who portrays Kenna, and Mila Bursac, who plays Tom’s daughter Claire. There is something in this film for everybody, and it garners two thumbs up.
