Torrey Mercer Goes ‘Miles’ With New Song

PopWrapped gets a turn at reviewing of Torrey Mercer’s song Miles off her EP Exhale. Take a read at what we thought about this amazing new song.

San Diego pop artist, Torrey Mercer is at it again. Last we heard from Mercer was back in February which we released her single “Snake Bite”You can check out that article here.

Now Mercer is back with another single from her Exhale EP. The track is entitled “Miles” and is produced by Tario Holmes (Flo Rida, Melanie Fiona) .  “Miles” is said to take an optimistic spin on 21st century long-distance relationships and gives hope to those who are working actively to keep their love alive.

We here at PopWrapped got a chance to listen to “Miles” and we spoke to Torrey and here is what she had to say about the track,

“So many songs about long distance relationships are so sad, and talk about how much it sucks,” Torrey noted, “I remember being in my relationship and listening to all the other long distance songs out there and being bummed out! I wanted to create something that’s positive for all those couples out there. Because they deserve their happy endings too.”

Take a listen to “Miles” for yourself:

I feel like “Miles” is an anthem for anyone who has been in a long distance relationship and fought for it. The song itself has a longing influence of Jazz along with a dash of Katy Perry (Anyone get any I Kissed A Girl vibes?)  The song really pops as we hear mixtures of Synth bass and pop vibes those along with Mercer’s soft but strong vocals really make this track a great one.  I would roll down my windows and listen to this song with friends in the car that’s how fantastic this song is.

I would highly recommend listening to Torrey Mercer’s song “Miles”. If you enjoyed this song I would follow Torrey Mercer on all social media platforms including twitter and facebook.
