Rihanna’s Instagram pics may have been getting more and more racy recently, but it’s her latest, more demure pictures that have been causing the most excitement. A visit to Coco Chanel’s apartment in Paris this week has left fans and fashionistas alike speculating on a possible collaboration between the star and the fashion powerhouse.

In a series of photos posted on her Instagram account, we are teased with the possibilities of a Rihanna and Chanel collaboration, with Rihanna posing on “that legendary staircase” and later with white couture bunny ears. She also recreated a photograph of the lady herself: an image of Coco Chanel reclining on a lounger.

Rihanna was taken on the tour of the apartment by Laetitia Crahay, Chanel’s designer of accessories, and explored the designer’s studio, “getting a history lesson on #CoCo.” She was also gifted with a neon yellow clutch bag to add to her collection. A long time fan of the luxury brand, she tweeted afterwards: “Got the keys to #CoCoChanels apartment!!! Yesterday=Most Legendary day in Paris!!!!”

The Bajan beauty’s no stranger to the fashion and beauty industries, having recently launched a fashion collection with British High Street favourite River Island, and her RiRi Woo lipstick with make up brand MAC. Could an accessories collection with Chanel be next on Rihanna’s cards? Or could she follow in the footsteps of Keira Knightley and co to be the next face of the brand? Only time (and possibly Twitter) will tell.
