Robert Rodriguez just can’t catch a break. He also must be wondering if any of his finished films will ever see the light of day as it was recently announced that his Machete Kills release has been put back. The film will now not be released until October 4, as opposed to September 13.
Machete boasts a surprising, albeit star-studded, cast. We will see big names such as Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Lady GaGa, Alexa Vega, Antonio Banderas, Demian Bichir, Michelle Rodriguez, Mel Gibson, Cuba Gooding, Jr., and Charlie Sheen come October.
Rodriguez’s Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, has also been pushed back recently; though this project was pushed back almost an entire year from its original release date of October 2013.
Machete Kills tells the tale of an ex-Federal agent, Danny Trejo, who has been recruited to thwart the evil agenda of a man revolutionary that is played by Mel Gibson.
