The award-winning singer and new mother is reportedly set to appear in upcoming movie The Secret Service. Matthew Vaughn is to direct the spy thriller based on the comic book of the same name, which will follow Taron Egerton as a teen runaway-turned-spy and his uncle, played by Colin Firth.
Adele is apparently set to make her silver screen debut and cameo as a villain alongside superstars David Beckham and Elton John, as well as Samuel L Jackson, who has already been confirmed.
A source has told British tabloid The Sun that “Adele is exactly what [Vaughn] is looking for… he wants the highest-profile names in various feeds to boost the film’s cause and turn it into a mega-money franchise”.
The Secret Service is due out in November of next year.
