Next year theaters will be treated to a story of Biblical proportions, and today we have our first look at it! Darren Aronofsky’s Noah has released its first official clip, as well as some teasers for a teaser trailer, and a poster. The film stars Russell Crowe as the titular character, as well as a bevy of A-listers – including Anthony Hopkins, Emma Watson, Jennifer Connolly, and Saoirse Ronan. As for Crowe himself, the occasionally unruly actor has made headlines again today, courtesy of George Clooney. Speaking to Esquire about their notorious falling out several years ago, Clooney said, “The truth is that he did send me a book of poems to apologize for insulting the s**t out of me, which he did.” It seems the relationship between the two Oscar-winners is still fairly icy, as Clooney went on to call Crowe a “Frank Sinatra wannabe.” As for Noah, the film does, of course, tell the biblical story of Noah and his ark. In this telling, Noah and his family are cast out of their village when they try to warn their neighbors of their impending doom. Living on their own in the wild, the clan comes together to build the legendary ark in order to survive the flood. Noah sails into cinemas stateside March 28, 2014.
