Dallas singer/songwriter Sarah Sellers has a voice like no other. Her vocal melodies create a classic R&B and Soul feel, and her song lyrics and overall vibe resembles all that is Electric Pop.
Sellers was born with natural talent. At the age of six, she captivated audiences, including her own parents, with her amazing vocals. By the age of twelve, she started writing her own original music and performing on a greater scale.
Since then, Sarah Sellers has been a part of the tenth season of American Idol, has appeared on the same stages as Grammy Award Winning Artists Paula Cole and Monica, and has graced stages from New York City to Brazil.
Sellers has recently released a new music video for her single "Fuck It, It's Alright". The single was co-written with Brooklyn-based singer/songwriter Jay Stolar and produced by Brooklyn's Warner Chappell's Noise Club. Sellers is currently working on a six-song EP which is projected to be released in early 2017, followed by a full length LP in the fall of 2017.
Sellers had this to say about the single:
"I wrote this song during a very dark period of my life. I needed to write my release, something that would free me from the prison I had built within my own mind. There comes a time when you have to accept the decisions you've made, relish in the growth that life can give you, and just say fuck it... everything really is going to be alright!"
Take a look at Sellers' music video below:
Overall, I really enjoyed the song and music video. Sellers has such a soothing and amazing voice that it makes the song that great to listen to. The lyrics, blended with the instrumentals, make the song for me. As far as the music video is concerned, I really like the simplicity of the video. I would highly recommend this song to anyone who enjoys mellow and down to Earth music.
