Using the tagline “We still have a lot to cover”, Apple has released to the media invites to their new launch event, which has been confirmed to be just six days from today.
Apple is expected to unveil new versions of both the iPad and the iPad Mini 2, as well as a Haswell-powered Retina Macbook Pro. The fifth-generation iPad is rumored to be lighter and thinner than the most recent release. It will be designed to better match the upcoming iPad Mini 2.
Other features for these upcoming products include crisper retina screens, hardware upgrades (let’s please fix the iOS7 bugs!), new processors, and even higher-quality cameras.
Apple recently released the low-cost iPhone 5C, which is sold in five different colors: pink, blue, green, white, or yellow. Based on this colorful invitation, we might be seeing one of the upcoming products released in a variety of colors as well.
The event will take place at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, and is scheduled to begin at 10am PST.
