Scholastic Reveal Yet More New Harry Potter Bookcovers

Yesterday we reported about the seven new Harry Potter book covers, and now it’s time for the back covers.

Scholastic released the Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone back cover, which shows Harry standing at the Mirror of Erised where we can see James and Lilly Potter. This includes a quote from Albus Dumbledore: “It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live, remember that”. 

Illustrator Kazu Kibuishi didn’t want to dive into details, but judging by this, it looks like each book will feature a single scene and quote on the back cover.

All seven books and the box set will be out on August 27^th. Scholastic also released the art for the spines of each book that when put together form the image of Hogwarts.
