When it comes to Supernatural, fans are always excited to see what the cast and creative teams are bringing for us. I mean come on, last year they brought Kansas. Well they may not have brought Kansas this year, but they did pack a whole lot into their one hour panel! Here are the top 5 moments from the Supernatural panel. 

1. The Moderators

When you have God himself and an archangel running the panel, you know you are in for a treat. Rob Benedict “God” and Richard Speight Jr “Gabriel” did a phenomenal job getting the crowd amped up with their own song. Sorry Kansas, these two have one up on you! 2. Sorry Al Cal 

Alex Calvert, who plays Jack, is definitely the new kid on the block. If we know anything about Jensen and Jared is that they like to bust chops and apparently they are busting more then just that on the set. Alex weighed in on how he is in constant fear of getting kicked where it hurts when working on set. Also, it was apparent that they just enjoy roasting the kid for how young and new he is. If you want to be part of the SPN family, you have to be initiated some how, right? 

3. How Jensen Prepares To Play Michael

Jensen is a very considerate actor and wanted to play Michael as Christian Keyes had portrayed him to help keep continuity. According to Jensen, Christian only had one answer. He stands up and whips the back of his coat behind him. Jensen got up and showed the crowd how he continues to do to this before going on set. And yes, it made all the girls holler! 

4. Rob Benedict Wants His Character to Come Back 

Moderator Rob Benedict asked producers Andrew Dabb and Robert Singer if any other old cast members would be making a return. Although he was humorously hinting at his own character, he was out right denied. Andrew and Robert did however make it clear that we would see some cast from Wayward Sisters come back into the SPN fold. 

5. Jensen Is Very Particular About Wardrobe 

The producers and the rest of the cast started digging in at Jensen on how particular he is about his wardrobe throughout the series. Specifically, the western episode this year. Jared joked that Jensen was more excited about the outfit then Dean was. Jensen was not going to let them have the last word and instantly came back with that it was his decision to wear the short short gym shorts from Season 4. Then immediately looked into the crowd and said “you’re welcome” with a head nod. 

Overall, we could not be more excited that Supernatural will be returning for a 14th season and will be reaching the 300 episode milestone! Supernatural will return to the CW on Thursday, October 11th. Are you ready?
