For all you Boondock Saints fans, hold on to your rope, because we’ve got big news! Sean Patrick Flanery is joining the cast of Dexter in the upcoming season 8. He is being cast as Jacob Elroy, an ex-cop and owner of a private investigation company in Miami. As Deadline reported on Thursday, his will be a major recurring role during the season.
Flanery is best known for his role of Connor MacManus in the cult classic Boondock Saints. He is also widely known for his roles in Powder and the Suicide Kings.
Season 8, which is rumored to be the final season of Dexter, is scheduled to begin airing in June.
